Question...
Does a degree from 14 years ago still qualify for transfering credits? Someone mentioned that my classes may not all transfer because of the length of time I've been out of school. If so I'd practically have to start over and I sure don't want to do that.
eta...my degree is an AA so that's why I'm wondering..since I already possess a degree I was hopeful those credits would transfer. I guess I'm going to have to phone them tomorrow to find out.
It is still worth doing though, you are right about that KathrynL

That is certainly something to consider. It depends on the university and the powers that be at the state level if it is a state university.
You might check into that before you enroll as you may very well have to start over. But, if you do, it is still worth doing for yourself.
I have heard that that is possible - I think it depends on the class itself though...I would think all your english and maths would be okay...you may want to go with an AA to start - once you have an AA you can't lose those credits.
Well, my mom dropped out of school some thirty years ago, and about three years ago, she went back with plans to finish. They didn't give her credit for every class, but she was only set back a little bit. Basic classes will always be the same, it's the electives that will probably be different.
