  • I'm bored so therefore it's just a bunch of rambling mess on here today. I did clean out my closet and drawers and my bedroom is spic and span clean. Steve and Adam got the bonus room hooked up to the air. But I find myself listless and bored with no focus on anything. I think I'm going to go read or something. Everyone's gone around xangaville...so I leave you with George the Monkey It's a little bit of my twisted humor for the day.

The new photo over there is Chelsea's monkey "George". I like making him talk with accents and stuff and we've made up things about his past. Here's one of our stories.

George is an escaped monkey who somehow found his way to our house. He came to live with us and we happily allowed him to stay. We did set down a few rules for him though. He seemed a little wild so we thought we better do it from the beginning or we'd have hell to pay later with his actions.

Rule number one was he wasn't allowed to have guest. It's nice when family visits but since his family are all primates we figured it would be one messy scene. He happily agreed since he doesn't know where they are anyway. He did ask about girl monkey's coming over but we said no to that as we don't care to babysit little monkey's later on.

Rule number two was no smoking or drinking in the house. You see George was rather unruly when he arrived at our house. He seemed to be living life like that of a wild monkey having just found freedom. So therefore we laid down that rule quickly. He assured us he doesn't smoke as it would be dangerous to his fur but drinking would be hard. You see he identified with the drunk monkey in Dr. Dolittle and since has had a hard time laying off the bottle.

Rule number three was that he would have to do his own laundry and pick up after himself. No banana peels laying around would be tolerated.

George is fun to play with and we all have fun with him. He's been a great addition to our family. He does sometimes like to get behind the wheel and drive and can often be heard being beeped by me as he has quite the bad language problem. He is a road rage driver if I ever saw one!

  • Hmm ... sounds like a typical twenty-something guy!

I bet that's about how old he is, by the looks of his clothes ...

  • you should add "no poop flinging" to those rules : ) I have seen the primates in the zoo do that. lol

  • ROFL!!  That is too cute and a wonderful family activity (although he should cut out the road rage...bad example, tsk tsk)   I agree with eclecticmom about the poop, too, lol

  • ooh, yes no to poop flinging. You don't want to clean up that mess. Sounds like he keeps you on your toes. lmao!
