  • I'm seriously considering returning to college to pursue my bachelors degree. I received the first of a few sets of inquiries I made last week from a University. I lack roughly 11 classes for my bachelors in Accounting and 8 for an associate degree in accounting. I'm awaiting one that would allow me to have a bachelors in Political Science. I am at the point where I feel like I must need something more in order to get the job I want..more like the pay I want. (eta..I would only need roughly 4 classes for the AA if they take all my credits and I don't have to take Intro to Psychology..but that would be a fun course to take)

My inlaws made it through the hurricane. The eye came right over them. I'm so grateful they are ok and nothing that was damaged matters because they are alive and well. We are due to get Tropical storm force winds and the rain is already here. I worry about the one tree in our front yard but not enough to worry that much.

I did not get out of bed today until 10:30. I couldn't believe I slept that long since I was in bed last night at 9:30. That's 13 hours of sleep! Steve was kidding with me and saying I had Mono. There is no way as far as I know for me to have gotten Mono..I mean I haven't gone around being the kissing bandit

I think I'm going to spend the day cleaning out my closet and rearranging it. I sort of tore through it looking for important paperwork I need for my appointment with CPO on base Tuesday. So I need to put it back together. I can't do that without cleaning it out lol

I hope all of those that were or are in Charley's path have no worries when it's all said and done. As long as we have power I'll be around lol

    eh..I'm not done writing...

My house is a construction site today as Steve and Adam are putting in the duct for the air to run to the bonus room. It's noisy and messy and I'm in the mood to curl up on the couch..despite the work needing to be done in my room. I'll get to it I guess and have soccer on in the bedroom so I can watch.

The Olympic opening ceremonies were good but I enjoyed the one from Salt Lake better. Maybe it's because we had a personal interest in Salt Lake. My friend from college has two boys and they both skated in the opening ceremonies in Salt Lake. Today we've watched US Women's soccer and I am hoping to catch the men's gymnastic's today.

  • Tell Steve and Adam I said to pipe down and let you have a quiet day.

Um...yeah...like you will get very far with that! Ha!Ha!

My two are in the living room playing Candyland, and Miss Girlie seems to think that if she cannot play her way, nevermind the rules, she is not going to play at all!

Do you think Steve and Adam need the help of a 4 year old??

    Enjoy the day, Rose!

  • Colledge is always good idea, but that's only my opinion!

I have relatives in jacksonville they seem to have got away W/out much damage!

dont think of the noise now, think of the clean air later!

  • Glad your ILs are ok. Oh wow, you should definitely go back to school! You're so close to finishing!
