HAPPY FIFTH BIRTHDAY TRISTAN
Six years ago I was chatting with my friend, Teresa, when she divulged she might be pregnant. I was so excited and happy for her and her husband. I of course began thinking blue lol because I just thought for sure she was having a boy. Then I thought.. no it's pink.. she's having a girl and I stuck with that. The months passed and finally it was her month.. January! The time was just around the corner and I was actually in the states for two weeks. I got to call her while I was in Utah and we talked about her being overdue and hoping he would arrive. She knew all along he was a boy. Her intuition about this child was amazing.
I flew back to Germany and no baby had appeared by that point. Finally though on February 1st (to this day I still think his birthday is the 2nd lol) Tristan made his appearance into the world. A beautiful baby boy, healthy and happy to be here. I don't remember the exact time that they asked me to be his Godmother but I was so honored that they would pick me.
I look forward to sharing my faith with him as he grows and being there as he walks through his journey in life. I love that little boy beyond belief and so today I stop to wish him a Happy 5th Birthday and many more.

Aww, thanks! Tristan says "Thanks", too. He's happily making cookies with me for his class.
I often think his birthday is the 2nd too -- I always have to think in terms of the date written in numbers 2/1 and that's how I remember lol.
