Jennie.. This is the museum I was talking about. They've changed the name of it lol or I remembered it wrong. Either way it's the Orlando Science Center and I highly recommend it to anyone going there as it's a fun rainy day activity to do with children of all ages. Steve and I had fun when we took the girls there in 2000.
Hey Discovery Body Challenge Partners... How's everyone doing? Have you found your rhythm yet in this crazy quest called weight loss?
I'm going to have to be honest and tell you that I've had some trouble switching gears this week. I'm hoping to go grocery shopping and stock up on the things that are on the menu and somehow manage to jump start my exercise. I'm going to check the gym on the AF base tonight and see if they offer any classes etc. I have tapes galore at home but I'm not apt to do them there so I need to get myself out of the house and in the gym.
I did switch to Coke Zero last night but I'm suffering from a migraine today so I'll have to break down and get a real coke soon. I'm working in the water as well.
How are you doing? I hope you are doing well and getting in your groove!
For those wondering how I'm feeling, I'm about the same. No better but no worse either which is good. Some of the upper right pain is eliviated with the ulcer meds so I'm hopeful it's working to repair or at least prevent further damage from the ulcer. As long as I'm eating I feel great.. it's when I stop that I have more pain. That hasn't helped me in my weight loss as of yet lol because I'm eating a lot more than normal. But I'm not discouraged and am looking forward to todays PBB sandwiche at lunch.
Going to get my hair colored tonight. I'm going darker for a change.. we'll see how I like it. I haven't had brown hair in a few years now. Debating on the cutting it off.. I like the length it is now.

Just trying out this new editor. I like the new additions for the most part. What does this do.. OMg that is so cool for making list and then going back and adding what you accomplished. Has this always been on there? Not much more going on but I wanted to check this out.
Chelsea is taking her EOC's today.. send her some good luck. She was nervous about taking them because this is her final exams...only if you don't pass this you don't pass the class even if you have an A in the class! How dumb is that?
I'm so fed up with our education system. It's broken and it doesn't look like it's going to be fixed soon either. I think we should fire our government and start over with people who have a genuine interest in the people they serve rather than their own agenda. GRRRRR

Yesterday ended up being a better afternoon than morning. I might be getting a raise! I'll explain more later!
Stopped by Pam's after work and ended up being there for 3+ hours. It was nice to just sit and talk. I forget how much I like talking to people because after work I usually just like to come home and not speak. I've talked all day and so I like to just "be" but last night was nice and reminded me I should talk to my friends more often.
We are outta here in about 30 min! All we have to do is drop the dog off and we are on our way. New directions printed and watch out margaritaville

Of course I have to go to work lol but it's FRIDAY no matter what! I've got laundry to do today when I get home, unless my husband decides to do it (HAHAHA) and a few other things to take care of.
I can't believe all the hype over Angelina and Brad having a baby. You'd think they were the first to ever do it.. I mean have a baby from a relationship that "didn't exist" gah.. I'm sick of them too.. Tom and Kate and Angie and Brad can all leave the public eye now.

That was just no fun at all.. but I have some answers even if small at this point. I do have a hatial hernia and it was very apparant it was part of the cause of my upper right pain. I also have inflammation at the top of my stomach and at the bottom leading into the small intestines. That's all the doctor would tell me. He showed me the reflux by having me drink and then just two seconds later it would shoot right back up. I don't have any esophagal damage though which is good.
The pelvic exam was no fun either. She kept making sounds and saying things but wouldn't explain anything. All I could see from the screen was the same stuff I used to see when they were looking at the girls in there.. fuzzy stuff lol She had a hard time finding my left ovary and my right ovary was nearly two times larger than my left. Unsure what any of it means.
I passed out in the truck and outside of walking into the house I don't remember the afternoon at all. Steve had called my boss to tell her I wouldn't be back so that was good. I'm sore and in pain and tired.

I have an appt. first thing in the am for the Upper GI and then two hours later an appt for the pelvic ultrasound. After it's all done I get to come back to work! Yipee!
Why is it when you are getting ready to go out of town, have fun with friends, that a few large pimples that have had a free ride on your chin for nearly a month won't go away? And to top off the matters a new one is developing? Oh and lets not forget the beautiful cold sore in the center of my top lip! I swear my lip enters the room before I do
I feel like a teenager again, only I didn't have bad acne then.. I do now! UGH
I purchased ProActiv for Chelsea. She's got it bad in her t-zone and it seems to be helping her. It's expensive but really not much more than the other stuff I'd bought her at the drug store.
