  • Imagination has brought
    mankind through the dark
           ages to its
    present state of civilization.
        Imagination led Columbus to
    discover America.
        Imagination led Franklin to discover
    electricity.
Imagination has given us the steam engine,
    the
           telephone, the talking machine, and
    the
automobile, for these things had to
    be
           dreamed before they became
    realities.
So I believe that dreams -- daydreams, you
    know,
with your eyes wide open and your
    brain
           machinery  whizzing -- are
    likely to lead to
           the betterment of the
    world.
The imaginative child will become the
    imaginative
man or woman most apt to
    invent, and therefore
           to foster
    civilization.

Took Chelsea to the doctor today and boy do her Dad and I know her well lol We both called the double ear infection After this many years of parenting we have just learned the signs and knew she was sick and needed antibiotics.

I , err, I mean Steve lol applied for 3 more jobs this evening.  He's got a possible job lined up with the same company but it's a 3.00 an hour pay cut. Not bad and we can survive but I know he's hoping to make at least what he was making now. I try not to stress over this too much but deep down, yeah I'm nervous. The man is so marketable but I think we need help on his resume because something isn't transfering or something.

    I can't wait for Friday!

    Have a great Thursday!

I'm sure that Steve will get a job that he deserves. Maybe this weekend at the V he can network.

YAY for TOMORROW!!!!! (I hope Chelsea is feeling better)

  • Hope Chelsea is feeling better.

&&crossing fingers&& for Steve. Positive thoughts coming your way. HUGS

  • It may not be the resume - there is so much competition out there for every job - especially the good ones. He just needs to be in the right place at the right time. Also, not sure how things work down there - but up here there is a LOT of weight in networking. If it works like that there, it helps to tell EVERYONE & have them let him know when something is opening & WHO to talk to on the inside. It may not be possible for you, or how it's done there. Maybe you are already doing this - so just tell me to MYOB. Anyhow, prayers are being said for all of you during this stressful time. Happy weekend!
