So the girls first day of school went well. I went up to Chelsea's school and got her schedule changed and she's all good. Jess seems happy with her classes and has a multimedia class which she is going to love.
I had my appointment this morning and fully expected to come home cast free. Not the case I'm afraid and I'm in a green cast again and should come out at the end of September. If not it will be towards the end of October when it finally comes off. What sucks is it hampers my job opportunities. But I should be able to sub soon so that helps.
He's depressed and really down. I have to set aside any fears I have to keep him positive and motivated. Yesterday he was so determined it was all done. I don't know what more to tell him except he may have to do something he doesn't want to until the right thing comes along. In the meantime I'll cut corners and really tighten down our hapless spending. We should have been better at not wasting our money. It's an eyeopener that life can change on a dime and we need to be better prepared for this.
Oh and my guilty pleasure is back... Weeds. I love this show even though it's all about drugs. I like the quirky characters. I'm off to watch last nights show and take a nap lol and then get to that laundry and decluttering.

Glad the girls are good! DAMN about your cast! Steve will find a job - like I said, he's very likable and marketable! He'll find something soon, I just know it!
Your love and devotion will keep S strong.
HUGS to you all! Glad the girls had a nice first day.
Glad the girls had good first days. Bummer about the cast! and I hope that things come around quickly for Steve.
Thinking of you....
I agree with Jennie.
I can't add to what we said on the phone earlier.
HUGE HUGS!
I know Steve will find something. You know what I saw in the paper here the other day....a want ad for people to work in Jamestown in costume guiding tourists.....hmmmmmmmmm, wanna come live with me?
Looking at your ticker factory - which is you? Anyhow, it's moving! Good for you. All the rest will fall into place. Guess Stve has to go thru some roller-coaster moments - so many changes in just a few months. He has a loving family, though, and that will help him get through this. You are all in my prayers!
I am so sorry about you cast. I hope your bone starts healing faster. Much luck to Steve in finding a wonderful new job! And I am happy to hear the girls had a good first day of school.
