Steve lost his job because some f'in idiot thought he could help keep one of the other guys along with Steve. It cost Steve his job instead as they decided to keep the other guy and let Steve go. So come Nov 22 he will no longer be employed where he is. I'm so pissed off right now because these idiots must not realize that families are involved in this and as for the idiot who thought he was helping I told Steve to thank him for me because we REALLY flipping appreciate it. NOT!
I'm a wreck. I mean I just quit my job, life was going to be ok and now this.

GACK! That's just horrible. I hate it when some people think they can still do things they were pretty much told they can't do, and then it ends up hurting someone else. Things will turn out though, I'm sure of it.

OMG! How awful! They have had you on a yoyo for months. This is WRONG. I know that Steve is very marketable and will find another job, but it has to be incredibly stressful in the meantime. UGH, what a jerk.
Yeah, what a jerk!! How awful. I'll cross my fingers he finds another great job soon. It will all work out. *Hugs* I don't have all the great words of wisdom like you do, but I'll be thinking of you guys.
Rosie, just remember everything happens for a reason. We may not see the reason right now, but in the end it will be a blessing in some way. Perhaps an even better job, perhaps a move to somewhere you'll love, we just never know. So........ Phoenix has a pretty low unemployment rate! LOL Hang in there.
