Jennie posted her things she'll miss and won't miss about Germany and it got me to thinking of all the things that I miss about living in Germany.
So I present the things I loved about Germany redeux (because I'm sure it's somewhere here in this blog)
- The love of outdoors. We walked so many places and biked and just enjoyed the whole being outdoors
- Recycling... They recycle everything and it makes for a better planet
- Sundays.. these were always quiet family days meant to recharge your batteries and get outside and walk and enjoy life.
- Being immersed in so much history, which is awe inspiring.
- Cathedrals bells ringing
- Bakeries with fresh pastries daily
- Wine.. God how I loved their wine lol
- Outdoor pools and lazy days at them
- Trains... the easiest form of transportation there was over there
- Autobahns heehee we all know I'm a speed demon
- Europe surrounding you for exploration
There is more, oh so much more about Germany that I love. I lived there for nearly 10 years of my life. It was the first place I ever took a plane to and it holds wonderful memories of welcoming Jess to our family, meeting new friends and so much more.
Sigh....
We're getting ready for a wedding. I'd really love to loose the cast and enjoy being free from it for a few hours lol It's a no alcohol wedding reception
heehee but no worries we have our ways
Nah, seriously the brides' family are even byobing it! The groom doesn't want any drinks at the reception but the brides' family said "UUUUH Nope we'll have something there" works for me heehee

LOL! BYOB!
Have fun!
Well, most of those are reasons that I'd list if talking about why I think I'd like it there, lol. Have fun at the wedding!
I miss the church bells too.
I'm glad I don't live there anymore but I did love it there. It was gorgeous and there were lots of wonderful things about it. It's nice to reminisce.
