GAH! If I hear the phrase "that old" used one more time I think I'll implode.
What exactly is old? Old is a state of mind not an age to me. I'm 40 years old and I'm here to tell you that I am not "that old"
I don't feel old, I don't act old, I don't dress old because I'm not that old yet!

at anyone, annoyed or otherwise. I just want people to understand that when you say "that old" you run the chance of offending many. I am the mother of a 15 year old and 12 year old and I'm 40. I didn't have my kids until I was 24 and 26. I have friends that are 34 and are mother's of soon to be 15 year olds. I have a friend who is 37 and the mother of a 17 year old. Is she old? I don't think so. Mother's of teens come in all ages.. we may be older.. but we're not that old heehee There's a whole generation of us that just aren't that old

I'm 34 and people say that to me all the time ... "You don't look that old!" *stare* 34 is not that old for cry eye!
Well ... I had my kids at the same age as you had yours. So I guess techincally, it's all the same, right? ALthough, I have had people ask me if I started my family late. Uh ... I was 24 when I had Braden and NO I don't think that's late! I think it's sensible. LOL
"That old" does sound bad, I guess ... but I don't want to look old enough to have high schoolers ... does that make sense? I've been feeling unfashionable and outdated lately and it makes me feel like I look older than my age.
Shall I just start calling you "Mom?" Then they will think you are young...me being 33 and all.
