I slept.. hard which was nice and I hate to say it but I sure didn't miss the snoring last night lol Most women hate when their husband leaves.. me I like a week off every now and again lol It allows me to regroup and him as well. That's just the kind of couple we are and what works for us. I hate when he's gone for more than a few weeks, always did. Now those days are over and it's just going to be weird adjusting to the thought of no more tdy's or deployments etc. We spent so much of the beginning of our marriage apart that it's kind of weird to be at this point now. I'm glad we made it to this point though.. retirement is very much appreciated lol
I'm thinking it's a pizza night tonight.. Survivor and ER are on so you know where I'll be!
Oh and I just have to say Cheslea has found her groove in English finally! She's made nothing lower than a 93 so far and I'm so glad. She's even using all that "stupid grammer" heehee that she learned last semester! Softball tryouts are Monday and Tuesday and I'm hopeful for her. She's done well and they 've been playing her at shortstop. So far they only have 27 girls out there at conditioning and there are two teams of 15 sooooo she should make it this year.
Ok.. back to work
Have a great Thursday

Glad you were able to sleep. I don't mind a few days of Sam being gone but then I want him back.
Have a good night and yay to Chelsea for finding her groove!
LOL I know what you mean about enjoying some time alone. I felt the same way. I'm glad you got some solid sleep last night.
I'm cheering for Beth!!! Have a good day at work.
LOL about stupid grammar! Good for Chelsea!!
The weekend is almost here, yay!
*lol* I keep telling Steve he needs to go TDY somewhere, just so I can have the house to myself for a while!!
laf, I know what you mean about early years being gone constantly. We've been married over 6 yrs and I think 11 months is the longest he's ever been home continuously. Because I'm not used to be him being around all of the time, at the end of the 11 months, I was ready to throttle him. I miss him when he's gone, I enjoy him when he returns, I just with those dates would be closer together.
Enjoy the retirement!
Enjoy hogging the bed for a week, hehe!
Glad you got some sleep! Okay, so who's emil?
I wish my husband would go somewhere for a week. And I mean that in a nice way, I need a good night sleep. I'm glad you slept well, I hope you do again tonight.
Tell Chelsea we are proud of her! I am cheering her on from here to make the Softball team. Mike's tryouts are on the 20th.
it's so hard to find people that like survivor and ER. i can't wait to see ER especially.
After being married to a sailor who was gone 6 months at a time, marrying a civilian was terrifying. I even told him I wasn't sure I could handle 24/7 for life. Well, he loves it because going up north to our land a couple of weekends a month from Spring thru Thanksgiving is never a cause for arguement from me. I can go too - or stay home. I stay home most of the time. Much as I'm crazy about the guy, I love being home alone! We also look forward to Thursdays with Survivor & ER!
Now, since I get your blogs a day after everyone else, Happy Friday!!!
I found it very hard to get used to DJ not traveling evey couple of months. GOOD LUCK!!!! LOL
