• So today is the big "State of the Union" address but I won't watch it. Why? Because it's rhetoric and pretty much the same stuff that's been said over the course of the past year just in a variety of ways. I'll watch HBO or something else instead. Looks like Alito will pass and become a Supreme Court Judge. I guess if you are ultra conservative you are cheering and if you are middle of the road like me you're very leary.

  
  

  Enough politics.. it's Tuesday! I received my referal to the Gyn doctor in the mail yesterday so I called today to make the appointment. Seems they only put two fo the three codes they needed so now I have to call back tomorrow afternoon so they can get approval for the most important reason I'm going! Gotta love it.. I'm not thrilled with the clinic I have to go to but I don't have a choice in it at all. That's the one thing I dislike about Tricare Prime. I am very limited to the selection of available doctors in the network and the ones that are on the list aren't the better of the doctors in the area.  But at least they were quick about getting the consult out and regardless I'm going to be taken care of.

  
  

  Steve and Jess leave Thursday or Friday to fly out to his Mom's for a week. She's so excited and he's happy to be going as well. He hasn't seen his Mom since 1996 when we paid her way out. That was the last time she accepted our invitation. We offer every year to pay her way out but she declines. Chelsea and I are going to be enjoying quiet lol She'll be on the pc and I think I'll scrapbook or read etc.

  
  

  I also can't believe today is the last day of the first month of this year already! Why does time go faster as you age? Remember when you were in your early teens and it seemed like you'd never be old enough to do anything fun and now that you're old enough to have the fun there is never any time? Yeah.. life is funny like that isn't it.
