I woke up thinking it was Wednesday.. wouldn't it have been nice to have been right lol
So she passed her classes and her math teacher was so fricking smug and quick to get us out of the room. I didn't say anything because my daughter passing her class after she called to tell us she was close to failing was glory enough. She's looking forward to her classes this semester.. to include PE lol Here's the weird thing.. it's the only PE class she's going to be required to take! What happened to PE? It's disappearing faster than the arts!Anyway, they are off and gone to school and it's just me and Steve and it's quiet. I like quiet lol It felt like they were home forever because they had a four day weekend. Jess has her science fair where she will demonstrate a beautiful volcano..that we didn't take a photo of.. and hopefully do well. She was so excited and has been excited about school this year. I love it and hope it sticks! I have her IEP meeting today at 11am and I'm ready. Bring it on people lol I do know they are exiting her from speech therapy and most likely the math class. I think she'll be fine.
Work is work.. I'm hopefully going to be fully caught up today and working way ahead for a change. I'm working in the near future now and that's ok but the further out I can get the better.
And since today is the 24th day of the month can someone explain to me why time is going by so quickly? I can't believe this month is over!

As for PE, yup. It used to be that kids would get their exercise at school. No more. I wonder after PE and the arts, what are they going to cut next.

RYC: Yeah, I ENJOY walking! I may huff and puff and wish for the easy way out, but I wouldn't change this. I'm so glad I HAVE to do it, because I like doing it.

Since I always get your blog the day after you write (which is weird...) I can actually enjoy today's comment, as today IS Wednesday!!! Glad things went well for Chelsea - as I had suspected they would. Teachers are just people paid to teach - they are NOT experts on OUR children! So, Yaaaay for you! Happy Wednesday!
